If you happen to cheat on your boyfriend of a year and a half, do you tell him or do you keep it a secret? Even if you feel bad n love him

If you cheated on your boyfriend the best thing to do is tell them. If he cheated on you im sure the last thing you would want is for him to keep it a big secret and pretend to be such a good person when he is keeping something so horrible from you. And also, You've been together a year and a half, that's a pretty long time to just go messin around. I think he deserves to know the truth and if you guys are meant to be it will all work out.

If you love him you should tell him. It's not much of a relationship if he can't trust you. It's better that he finds out from you rather then the guy your with or one of your girl friend. In the end he might be more upset that you lied to him rather than the fact that you cheated on him. After all would you want someone who says they love you and then go out and cheat on you probably not. Why be with someone if your going to cheat on them? Tell him. If he loves you he'll learn to forgive you for cheating but if you keep it a secret and he finds out it less like he'll forgive you.

well, you have a decision to make! when you see him, do you feel guilty, are you scared to tell him because you don't want to hurt him for anything in the world, and the thought of the look on his face if you do is enough to make you cry right there and then, plus the idea of losing him kills you, and you forever have these feelings pounding into you? If yes, you really do love him and you really should tell him, it'll be hard, but you have to, unless you want to live with this forever, continue living a lie, if he loves you he'll be hurt, and he'll be angry (rightfully so) but he'll listen to you, and given time, he'll forgive you.
Or, do you feel a bit guilty but reckon you can live with not telling him cos sooner or later you'll forget? If so, you don't care about him as much as you think you do! Be honest with yourself, which is it? If it's the latter, tell him, and break up with him, you don't love him you love the idea of having him, if it's the first you have to be true to both of you! Think hard, which is it?

It all depends on how bad you feel. Maybe it would be better to tell him and tell him that it was a mistake and it will never happen again. He will either keep you or leave you. But at least its out in the open. OR.. you can not tell him, and take the chance of him finding out anyway... then there is no talking about it.. he will leave. Choice is yours.

Apparently you don't love him. If you did you wouldn't have cheated in the first place. I think you should tell him & if he forgives you, he must trust you. But if it was me why would I trust a person that decided to cheat on me with a random boy?

Well, if you tell him it would only tear you guys apart but if you don't tell him you would have to live with that. If you don't tell him and he somehow finds out then it could get worse! That is a very tough call. If it was me I would tell him cause I just can't lie to someone like that. I suggest you remember this and not do it again!

if it was a one time thing and there is no way he can find out then don't say a word. he may leave you and he will defiantly hold it against you for the rest of your relationship. but if you feel your just not happy and your going to continue cheating then don't be a whore and tell him.

if you really loved him you would tell then the truth.its bad enough that you cheated on them but its even worse if they hear it from someone eles.just be honest.
