I have said for a long time that Matt is the most underrated fighter in the world but now that he is getting the respect that he deserves he is going to face the best fighter in the world. I don't expect Matt to win but i would like to see him go the distance what do you think?

I'm saying No he is giving up to much weight. Also He lost to Rampage less then 2 years ago and I honestly can't tell when was the last time I seen Fedor go the distance with a wrestler. Coleman and Randleman 1st round subs.

Lindland does have a chance of going the distance, but only a very small one. Fedor is bigger and a better striker. As about Matt's superior grappling skills---Fedor was the 1997 Russian National Judo Champion, the 1997 European Sambo Champion, and placed first in the 2002 World Sambo Championship in the heavyweight division. He has submitted Randleman and Coleman twice. He submitted Naoya Ogawa, the youngest winner ever in the World Judo Championships and silver medalist(judo) in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics.

No, Lindland is an excellent wrestler but Fedor right now is untouchable. Lindland never really did that well in the big name MMA promotions. Fedor is a champion combat sambo fighter not to mention the fact he is probably the best heavyweight strikers in the world.

Matt has a better than good chance of winning. He's a former silver metalist at the 2000 Olympics so he can grapple with the best of them if it goes to the ground. I'm interested to know what his weight is going to be cause I know Fedor goes around 225-230 or so & most of Matt's fights have been at 185 & a few at 205.

Fedor fights Matt on the BodogFIGHT Show: APRIL 14, 2007 IN ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA

"The Law" not only can go the distance he has a chance of winning, I wouldn't put my money on it but these two guys are the best in their weightclasses so the only difference is in size where Fedor has the advantage, but anytime you put two highly skilled fighters in the ring together forget favorite and underdog, anything can happen didn't you learn anything from Silva vs Hendo 2 or Gomi vs Diaz?

Depends if Fedor wants to kill him or not. If he does, then the fight will be over in less then 10 minutes.

No disrespect to Lindland, but I don't think he will win. Fedor is a machine, he doesn't respond to pain. Only way I see Lindland winning this one is on the feet. Even there Fedor is an animal, he picks his opponents down...

Be realistic here and put yourself in the ring with Fedor, your scared, guaranteed. I see this in his opponents, they are very tentative.
