It reminds that the Tao nonsense will keep your tires flat.

Hey, I can't help it, the tire being flat balances out it's quality of being brand new. Of course then it is not very useful, as a tire, and being flat, it is impossible to go down the road, especially when everyone else tires go flat on that road too.

It has helped me empty my boat:

"If a man is crossing a river
And an empty boat collides with his own skiff,
Even though he be a bad-tempered man
He will not become very angry.
But if he sees a man in the boat,
He will shout at him to steer clear.
If the shout is not heard, he will shout again,
And yet again, and begin cursing.
And all because there is somebody in the boat.
Yet if the boat were empty,
He would not be shouting, and not angry.

If you can empty your own boat
Crossing the river of the world,
No one will oppose you,
No one will seek to harm you."

There is a sublime nature to the world, and we find peace and harmony by conforming ourselves to that nature. Too much of human pursuit is aimed at trying to make nature conform to our will, rather than the other way around.

Good question .

I've accepted things that I can not change.
I'm understanding how happiness comes from within and not always from without.
