I live In Southend-On-Sea in Essex and I am looking to join a Excercise class that I will really enjoy but will tone me up and burn fat at the same time.

I dont really fancy paying a monthly membership to a gym as I wont use it! I also hate running, although I am going to start running in a group(another thing I would be interested in if you have any info?)

I have just come out of hospital a few weeks ago after a suspected Blood Clot and I still have some breathing problems so I need to take it all slowly to start with!

Im looking for something fun to keep my interest, but also pay as you go or something where I dont have to pay £40 a month for something I wont get the full value out of!

Thank you

You need to go to an excersie class where the intructor is fully qualified. Try www.rosemary-conley .co.uk they have on their web site a list of classes near to you it cost £10 to join and £5.50 per week.
If you buy her magazine there is money of coupon her magazine is called diet and fitness and has many good articles I have just brought the magazine and found out my local class and going next week.
I hope that helps due to your health you have got to be careful so go somewhere they are trained and hers have to be trained she trains them herslef.

Don't live in your neck of the woods but most councils have a health club where you pay per visit. They will also have a trainer who you can consult and will give you a personal training plan to suit your needs. As you grow stronger you can consult him/her again and get a more suitable plan. Our one has a swimming pool attached and you can combine your excercise session with a swim to cool you off. It should always be fun, set yourself little goals, go with friends, make friends, have a laugh. You should also get info on any running, cycling, swimming, aerobics, steps etc at these centres. You should find it in your local phone directory or phone your council office, they will give you the information you need and who to contact. Have a good time.

boxer fit or some type of boxing aerobic class..... now don't let the boxing part put you off because it's really not that bad. it's really good fun!! theres no contact at all, the class is like an aerobic class but with mini circuit stations like punch bags and punch pads. you can be a total beginner and it won't matter. it's fun, it will tone you up and after a hard days work, you can hit a punch bag as hard as you can to releive the stress

Icky swimming does no longer sense extraordinary with tremendous tummy :) it feels the same water takes away each of the sence of Weight :)

Just enrol at the gym or go to your local leisure centre .... they'd have personal trainers on hand who'd be happy to work out a specific programme for you based on your fitness and requirements.

Get GP to refer you. Here in Wales we have a good GP referral scheme which operates throughout the Leisure Centres. If you don't have that option try local L.C anyway and chat to them - sure they will help. Get well soon.
