What is the easiest way to convert a dvd to a vcd?

Is there an easy way to recode dvd video to some sort of video cd? If so is it possible to retain the menu's and what not?

I can tell you the absolute BEST program to use for video conversions (especially VCD, KVCD and SVCD) is WinAVI..

Which you can find right here. You can retain the menu's and just about anything you want. I also believe you can get a "Trial" download. Here is the link..
