theres this guy and 2 months ago I was going to ask him out but he asked this girl out like 5 min. before I was going to *tear* and so I t hought okay it won't be that long something will happen and they will break up. But, its been 2 months and I still love him but I'm tired of chasing him. I also know that he loved me at some point and that he was afraid that I'd dump him like my ex(I caught him one day telling someone). But this past week I relized that enoughs enough, I need to stop loving him. BUT I CAN"T!!!!!! I write his name in a heart on the shower door every time I show(I know cheesy) and I think about him 24/7. I LOVE him, but I don't want to anymore, how can I stop???? Thanks in advance!

I've read most of the suggestions, and diverting yourself is a good idea, like try working, getting hobby, stop writing his name in the shower, etc. But its hard, I get it. Ironically, I'm doing the same thing right now, and I've been given a week without seeing him everyday, so I am going to do all I can to keep myself from thinking about him. Going out with friends, to the gym, to a club, and actually writing in my diary (yeah that's chessy too) but it helps and I write what's on my mind. It's true you can't stop love and time can heal some wounds, but you have to make an effort to make it heal, but I think what you should first do is try to get it all out. Find someone to talk to about him and get it all out, cry all that you need to about it, listen to all the love songs, etc. Give yourself a couple days or a week to do this all, then after that make a firm decision to do all you can to stop thinking about him. If you really think he isn't going to be with you, then you are right to decide to stop loving him. If he wanted to be with you, you would be in his arms rather than reading this advice. Good luck!

you can't stop love!!! Why don't you understand. Love is a part of U. Love is the most powerfull gun of this life...
Don't wory, loves arms will protect you. If U say that that boy likes U make him understand that U want a serious relationship, but all this only after he will broke with the other girl. If not he will think U are disperate. Be patiently... U will haft to wait somes months.
BUT THE TRUE LOVE NEVER DIE...the love has no bad ending because love has no endind.

There are more fish in the sea and you need to go fishing! Seriously, is there anything you can do that might expose you to some new guys? I'm sure this guy is great, but he's not the ONLY great one out there. It's time to consider other options.

every time you shower write on the shower door ( he is dating another one , he doesn't trust me ) . and try to remember always that , he's got a bad idea about you , and he thinks he'll never feel OK with you , he's always expect to be dumped like your ex , that may help you forgotten about him , and during this time try to think of one that he is really loves you , I can tell from your speech that you are lovable , and desirable , and it's so easy for you to find the one who runs after you , hoping to be loved by you . I think that will help you .

Why do this to yourself? Try to change your routine. Do something different to divert your attention and remember that this will pass and a year from now he will be but a distant memory.

aww... I'm so sorry.... I'm going through a similar problem, cept that he broke up w/ me & I still love him. ALOT. Honestly, I don't know how to get over a guy, b/c I haven't gotten over mine....but I guess the best thing to do is to just accept it.

okay...... so..... you are aware..... it's actually up to you.... advices wont help if the body and mind is closed.... it's all up to your will power.... try to go out with someone else... that will help... but of course dont start a conversation with your new date with this issue... he will not call you back ...
