Hydrogen Peroxide may be ok to put a small amount on the face with a cotton ball...avoid the eyes...and flush quickly with water if you do get it in them...peroxide is actually bad for the skin and tissue...it can actually damage skin..especially if the skin is broken...as a rule it is a skin irritant..but most people are unaware of this...

Hydrogen Peroxide is NOT a skin lightener, no matter what it is mixed with. It is bad for the skin, and should only be used sparingly on minor cuts.

It must be safe as my Doc. recommended it to use in my ear canals to get rid of swimmers ear. Occasionally I get water in one ear from standing under the shower. Hydrogen Peroxide somehow dissolves or displaces the water.

It is used any where on the human body to treat an abrasion or cut to combat infection.
