Yep probably best to have him castrated first, she could make him start spraying. Still, neutering doesn't completely halt spraying behaviour, even in females - you can buy repellants aimed at discouraging spraying.

1st ask do I want this female cat? Is is fare to my other cats? Will they be jealous? I'm an animal lover myself but you need to be careful and do not become a collector. That is why we have foster care for cats and rescue centers. If you could afford a 3rd. your male would had all ready been neutered. I do not mean to hurt your feelings I'm concerned for the female cat and your other ones as well. I would say get your male fixed 1st, but that will not guarantee that they all do not start spraying! Male cats can still spray to mark their territory. So be prepared if you force the issue and bring her in. The price you pay in the long run may be your whole house. Think about what I said please! Good luck and take care of the ones you have. I would tell my own daughter what I just told you.

Definitely get it done before bringing the female into the house. Even if he doesn't want to mate with her, he could still react to a new animal in the house by spraying.

You'll want to get the last male neutered before you bring the female home, just in case. If nothing else, she'll probably feel more at ease around him.

Males react to hormones that fertile females put out. Since she isn't fertile, he won't even know she's female.
