When you die, the lights go out and that's it.

Everyone and everything eventually dies. That is just how it is I dont ever want to die and I am scared to die but its going happen no matter what I try to do.
I believe in re-incarnation. Our soul takes a trip after death and puts itself where ever a soul is needed. Maybe a Horse, cat, tree,or the next president. Sometimes we have unfinished business to take care of and we are left as ghost (spirits) or the suppernatural
but
then some people think when you die...you just die and thats it
and
some people think there is a such thing as a Heaven and Hell (which is a bunch of crap)
Going up to heaven when you die came from people passing out and seing the light at the end of the tunnel when the light is actually a reaction with your eyes.

Yes we are all going to die. Everything dies physically when the spirit and soul separate from the body. The body without the spirit is dead.

Your body will decay 6 ft under. From dust thou art from dust you will return.

I'd be concerned more about the "spiritual death" than the physical so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power (1 Cor. 2:5).

Your soul (emotions, intellect, personality) will either be in the presence of the Almighty God (that some think don't exist) or in hell (another place people think does not exist).

I've never heard anyone describe death as being like a mug.Where we go after we die depends on us and how we live our lives.Remember none of us are or can live perfect lives 24/7 for the rest of our lives. Some of us are going to hell and some of us are going to heaven.

Death is like a mug and all people drink from it because as far as I know, nobody is immortal--we are all going to die someday.

What happens afterward is anybody's guess. Lots of different religions say different things but the truth of the matter is NOBODY knows for sure and, quite frankly, it scares the hell out of a lot of people.

the only place you go when you die is 6 feet underground. unless you are cremated. what happens to your SOUL after death, is up to your beliefs.

and yes, death is like a mug everyone will drink out of. you are certainly not going to live forever.

Well peole do drink when someone dies. But who knows where we are going to go. You will never find out. Until it happens. So i think I would wait and not think about it till it does.

My Dear Grandmother had cancer, she was laying in bed at the nursing home, suddenly her eyes got bright, looking up.she smiled .she raised her hands and arms up.cried out Jesus!!.then passed on.I had been reading to her.
I was into Eckankar, the ancient science of soul travel.and believe ,different from Christians,
I believe in One God, one soul.in us. one spirit of God for all of us,and many religions.I have witnessed a few supernatural life saving miracles.I heard a voice in prayer, say Rub His Feet, i did,and my father opened his eyes ,he was in the hospital ,he had a stroke, was in a nine day coma, and i rubed his feet and he opened his eyes ,and he lived well for 11 more years, so i know that something is going on spiritually .I am open to the spirit, you can to, it take faith and love.and you have to ask and listen for the answers.
years later after all my family died, i decided to go back to Christianity.in my fathers house are many mansions.Jesus said, and well, I wish to see my people again. because i miss them so much, and I will just have to wait till i die to see where i go.But God loves us all, no matter the religion were into . are even if we have no religion that we follow.the time of our deaths,we will find out. I don't know where your going, i don't know where i am going, but i do believe that if you have the holy spirit of God in you, that you have faith and love towards God , then when you die, God will take care of you.If your connected to the spirit of God, if your not connected, then of course it Cant take you to heaven, and you will be lost.so ask of the spirit, listen for the answers that will come if you listen, you have to be quiet, and listen, then do what Gods will is for you, you must pray,to be connected to the spirit,.
I wish you the best on your spiritual journey.

I think that quote is true but scary sounding. I think everyone will die it is a part of life.

I am Christian so I believe that there is a heaven. Some people do not agree with me but I do not think there is a hell. Everyone has their beliefs on where we go but you have to decide on what YOU think.

The fact is: Either the "afterlife" exists or it doesn't.

The problem is: One doesn't have the ability to tell us what happens after he dies; dead people don't talk to living people.

The truth is: Everyone is going to physically be dead at some point and whether or not an afterlife exists is unknowable.
