It doesn't matter. He'll hump it either way.

If they are both Chihuahuas either will be fine. Male or female will make a great friend for him. Chihuahuas don't usually fight amongst themselves. Just be sure to spay if you get a female and don't want to have puppies. If your ther dog is a territorial type of breed you may be better off initially getting a female because he will accept her sooner. Either way expect a period of adjustment. It sometimes takes a year or more before a current dog really accepts a new arrival and a puppy will be easier to accept and less likely to fight with. However if your dog is the type who is friendly to other dogs he may get used to the new dog quickley.

I easily have 2 concerns right here one for you to purchase one from a puppy save that's a quantity one NO NO. once you purchase from a puppy save you're contributing to domestic dog generators. the different undertaking is your lab. Labs are superb canine they seem to be a domestic dog in a grown up physique. The lab will in no way harm the little Chihuahua, yet he can smash a leg in simple terms via fidgeting with him. He can harm the domestic dog without meaning too. it may in simple terms take one pounce or one swat and it would be throughout with. a splash Chihuahua isn't experience for a lab that's playful. Getting a canine too to dress up isn't a competent way of questioning the two. no longer all canine like to be dressed up. They already have clothing. basically some issues to think of approximately. seem at your vast lab taking part in then seem at this little Chihuahua i think of you could comprehend what I recommend.

If it's a big dog you might not want to get a girl. I don't want to go into too much detail, but boy dogs and girl dogs have gotten stuck together before. Just a thought.

Dogs are like people. Boys get along with boys better and girls get along with girls better. But I would suggest a female if your male dog is aggresive.

As long as your male is neutered, a female would be better. Sometimes dogs of the same gender will fight, while opposite genders get along better.

two males will in general not get along if they arent raised together, however two girls will get along just fine and a boy and a girl will get along. I think you should get a girl. Just make sure your male is neutered, you dont want any puppies.

Female b/c 2 males will be very territorial.
The males will want to mark their territory so a female will be less threatening.

If you get a female, get her spayed when she is 6 months old. Otherwise you will have pups popping out all over the place.
