im 19 now and i have never had a bf before , i remember when i was 7 and 8 i felt the most funny butterflies in my tummy , always having a crush for the smart guy in the classroom , but that all have changed , no one turns me on , i feel no need to be physically , emotionally , mentally , or financily attached to a guy , but sometimes i wonder whether this is fear which killed my hormones , fear to be deceived , or a temporary thing , which i doubt because i havent experienced atraction since like 3 years ago , and still if i experience atraction this would be on a really low level , never enough to start a relationship.whats going on with me?have you ever been trapped into asexualism ? did you get out of it?

If you have'nt been attracted to anyone it's probably because you saw the same guys everyday in H.S. You are probably a girl with a focus mind and so you don't get distracted by guys. I doubt that you have a problem. When you meet a guy who you like you will feel something for him. It may be that you aren't very interested in looks but instead you want a mental connection. If you aren't meeting guys then how can you have that type of connection? Just continue to be yourself and you'll find someone.

Yes, I've been there, and I'm a guy. It *is* all fear. And knowing that is half the battle. Take a look at yourself and figure out what's going on: go to the library or bookstore for help books if you need, or a therapist. But you're wondering what's going on, which means that you'll get out of this one way or another. You're going to live a long and happy life, so take your time figuring things out!

Maybe you've had some hard things happen in your life that have caused you to try and bury your feelings and emotions. It might be interesting to get some counseling to explore what's going on. Maybe you need to meet more people, on the other hand. Or maybe you've just been busy with other things. Or maybe it's hormones, you could get a check up and get lab work done just to make sure everything is normal.

That actually doesn't sound like a bad thing. There are lots of different types of people and you might end up turning this into a positive.

Based on what you said, I'm thinking that perhaps your hormone levels are not what they should be. I'd suggest seeing a local gynecologist just to at least give you some answers.
