I've had tattoos on my face, which didn't really hurt at all; what is the comparison to the ear?

I've only seen one person with a tattoo on their ear, and it was on the upper part of the earlobe, and this guy is one of the artists at the studio I go to. He's COVERED in tattoos, all the way down to his feet, and he said the ear one was the worst of all.

I assume that the lobe = not much pain but anywhere near bone = ow. I've got a finger tat and it was fine in the middle of the joint but when it got near the joint/bone--white hot fire shreading my skin--but here's the good news. It lasted like a minute--the smaller the tattoo, the less time, right? Wear it well! :-)

nobody can tell you what you would feel. i had someone tell me it wasn't bad at all and someone else told my dad it was the worst ever SO i don't know. get it done and let us know how it went!
