If you are working out that much, you may need to take in a little more calories. You don't want to burn muscle, just fat, so eat up, OK?

How long are you working out for and what exercises are you doing? How are you getting these calorie readings? They could be very inaccurate. To burn that amount in say an hour you would have to be on the bigger side and/or unfit.

Rule of thumb - as soon as you do cardio exercise for over an hour you stop burning fat and start burning muscle. So don't over do it. I would recommend you talk to a trainer at the gym and get them to set up a program specifically for your body. It would also pay to work out your Basal Metabolic Rate, find out how many calories your body burns itself just to keep going, it's likely you may need to up you caloric intake.

No that sounds OK, if you find you are loosing weight but getting too tired you may have to up the calories a bit. Even with this regime it will be a long slog.

Lots of luck nice to hear of someone who got up off the couch!

depends on your weight. Are you trying to loose weight or tone up?

If you want to loose weight your body will have calories stored and will burn them...If you want to build muscle you need high protein diet and plenty of ''good carbs'' (fruit, veg etc.)
