What in the world s the disposal fee? They can charge for any miles over the limit you signed for. Or for any damage to the car that is above normal wear and tear. Ask to talk to the Manager or some other person in charge. You are not disposing of the car but turning it in after the lease has expired.

Cuz they can. Think on this. When you buy a hotel room you see $99 a night then with taxes runs about $115. In San Antonio, Texas, that includes the state tax, city tax, SUPPORT OUT SPURS ARENA tax, and I think quarter cent for VIA bus lines.

So with the new cars, would you rent the $50 a day or a $60 a day car. The cheaper one and then they "officially" add the taxes and the other stuff which you reluctantly pay.

I used to work for Red McCombs in San Antonio 30 years ago. I laugh cuz they still do the same thing except they put it on TV now. It is called the shipping and destination charge. That was something we would add on like tax for bigger commission

Hello Bubbles,
Unfortunately, the disposal fee represents their cost to remove and discard any garbage, junk, trash, etc. from the
car you returned when (after) they clean it. AND IT'S JUST
PLAIN STUPID, because your rental contract requires you
to clean the car and top off the gas tank!!!
