do different types of alcohol do different things? like, tequila makes you less shy, or something, and whiskey makes you wanna fight?

I agree with Utnapishnam, different types of alcohol affect each person differently.. For example, disaronno amaretto makes me forget! I get lovey when I drink sweet drinks, and frisky when I drink rum..

Alcohol puts you in a different mindset. Drinking a little will give you a buzz...whether its a little beer or a little anything else. Over doing it can cause you to get confused and then angry. Or if your not careful you can just get angry for no reason at all. It really comes down to YOU and what YOU wanna do. Drinking is fun but it also makes fighting,flirting,and drinking excessively alot easier.

Good question. By watching friends and thinking about the past I think you may be correct. But different people respond differently to a variety of alcohols. Wonder who could answer this... wonder if a study has been done

Different alcohols effect everyone differently. For example, rum makes me a little mouthy but it puts my wife on cloud nine. Irish whiskey makes me euphoric but my best-friend starts bar fights. So, different alcohols do different things to different people.

Drinking alcohol lowers your inhibitions. It just allows what may be below the surface and governed by your conscious mind to show. Alcohol is alcohol - your mood and whatever is on your subconscious is what will determine you will do when inebriated.

no it depends on the person and how they act when their drunk some people want to fight and some people just let it all hang out, and some people just like to chill when they get drunk
