As in when you are asked 'ca va bien'? (How are you?)the standard reply is 'ca va bien merci'( I am good thanks)
But what if you aren't good, you are just ok, or a bit under the weather, not brilliant.......

ok... you might say " Pas mal" ( meaning you are just ok, or not too bad)

Ca va is a good wishy-washy answer.
In Quebec "pas pire" is a bit worse than "ca va". It means "not worse". I don't think it's used in Europe though.

You could simply say "Ca va" as in "it goes".
Ca va bien? actually means "It goes well?"

"Ca va" is a good way of answering without answering.

You can say " Pas trop mal" for I'm ok

and "je ne me sens pas tres bien aujourdhui" for I don't feel that good today.

Pas tres bien

can be used to say not great, not very well, etc.
