My doc always told me to alternate Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 4 hours.

Both work really well for fevers, but if the patient is under 18 years old, you should use tylenol. Aspirin can cause Reyes Syndrome in kids under 18 and can be serious. After that, both work.

Defenetly Tylenol!!! Besides that it is a fever reducer, Asprin is more for pain!!!

Tylenol!

You shouldn't ever use Aspirin to reduce fever.
Also, don't take Tylenol back to back. If you have to take more than one dose, take Advil (ibuprofen) as the second dose so as to not overload your liver with acetaminophen.

1st dose=Tylenol
2nd dose=Advil
3rd dose=Tylenol.........etc...
