I've been dating this guy for about a week, and originally we were best friends. Now I get shy around him sometimes and I feel like I could do a lot better as a girlfriend. Mostly we talk and right notes to eachother, but thats really it. I want to do something that lets him know I really care about him. Any tips on how?

Why don't you ask to take him out to dinner or a movie. That will let him know that you care about him and that you have been thinking about him. Also it will give the two of you a chance to hang together.

Before he was my boyfriend, he was rapidly becoming one of my best friends. After we started going out, he got really shy around me and hardly ever said anything, which made me shy.
I stuck it out and about a week or so later, he just started opening up.
So you're doing the right stuff. Just keep at it and soon he'll be your best friend again...but more, because now you get benefits...:b. Mmm.
If you want to let him know how you feel, just tell him. When you're saying goodbye, give him a huge hug and tell him you care about him. He'll be happy, trust me.
It's little stuff like that that seems the biggest.

what ur feeling is perfectly natural. it is because you like him so much that you feel shy around him, but aso becuse you are making that step from friends to boyfriend an gf. if he hasn't told you o be a better gf then it hasnt been botherng him that uch or at all.
just text message him during class, and call him at night, even if it is just to say hi. start off with small talk and then try to talk about ur realtionship, when you are ready to hang up tel him tht you do care about him but DONT tell him that you love him, because that might scare him off since u havent been dating each other for that long

Invite him over for stuff reguarly....like ask if he wants to come over to watch the next saw movie you just rented. Next, avoid aquard conversations by always saying what ur thinking. Now that you actually HAVE the guy, dont worry about impressing him. Lay on his shoulder while your watching the scary movie on your couch.

Here we go.....
Think of something about him that only his close people know. Something he thinks you don't know and do it for him. For example: Lets say he secretly likes....oh i dunno....animated movies like Nemo or something like that. Something he thinks you don't know about, buy him the video and it'll be a very sweet surprise to him. Trust me on this one. If he knows you think about him when you two are apart, it will mean the world to him. Promise you that.
