i want a little dog like a westy or yorkie terrier something like that. i have looked at shelters and every were and can't find one that i like and some of the sites i look at haven't been updated in a long time. i would like to get a puppy for like 200, or 150 some thing like that. What is the best pet to keep in the house and what is the best little dog that i should get and is cute also. thanks ps an you give me some sites and stuff to go to

call your local vets... they usually have breed specific rescues and/or know of people looking to place dogs/puppies..

Try the site below. There was 4 pages of Westies for sale the day I checked (March 28, 2007) and there was one being given away for free by the looks of it, and one being sold for $200. The rest were $250 or higher.
There is 34 pages of Yorkies for sale also, but most will come with thier papers so they aren't being sold for cheap. From $450 to $4000 each from the looks of it, but I didn't look through all 34 pages.
There are a few Westies and Yorkies on the site that have been rescued, the shelters are asking less for them. So if you don't might getting an older dog.
Go to the site below and pick the breed name, then click on "dogs for sale" or "dog rescue" or "dog breeders".

Before you consider buying a pure-breed, consider adopting a pet. There are plenty of shelters all over and hundreds of innocent animals being put down everyday because they cannot find good homes to go to. I beleive breeding for profit needs to be stopped because there are millions of animals without a home, abused and neglected. I have 4 adopted dogs (mixed breeds) and I will testify that they are truly the best companions I could ever ask for. Seriously, think about it. You'll save a dog's life and be rewarded with an awesome friend,

im glad ur lookin to adopt however u will probly not find a dog like that for the price u want to spend u could find a amimal at
