Try to get the 'pop-up' version of the books you need. I'm studying English lit. and the pop-up version of 'Lady Chatterly's Lover' is particularly entertaining.

Make a crossword puzzle from your vocabulary words.
Write the most outrageous math problems you can think of, for example, 'If Joe wins the $736 in the lottery and a marriage license costs $11 how big a bigamist could Joe afford to be?"
Read the ingredients lists on things in your kitchen and do some chemistry experiments with them.
