My son is going to be 4 and just 2 months ago he just started peeing and pooping in the potty and now in the toilet. So you just got to be consistent and reward your child everytime he goes to the potty.

I had the same problem with my son. He was afraid of the splash in the big toilet. I made him do it cold turkey. after we finished the last diaper in the pack I told him Mommy wasn't buying anymore diapers because he was a big boy and big boys have to use the potty. He pooped in the toilet that same day and never looked back

let her run around with nothing on her bottom. they do not like the feeling of stuff going down there leg. so they will go in the potty. my son was the same way. he wouldnt poop in the potty just pee. well we tried it one day where he ran around naked and well he learned to go poop on the potty real quick. and he has been potty trained since then.

Try setting up an award system. Make a chart everytime she goes to the bathroom like a "big girl" put a star up and then when she gets to a certian amount she gets a special treat or you go out on a special outing or someting.

I always favor positive reinforcers rather than negative. If you scold her for going in her diaper you are teaching her what NOT to do but not what TO do.

Sorry I assumed you have a girl guess its cuz i have a girl

How long has she been going potty in the toilet? One thing I did for my boys was set them up in front of sesame street when their normal poo time came around. It was enough of a distraction for them that they could relax, and let nature take its course. We also would give them a chalkboard, and chalk and let them draw while sitting.
