The "awsome" delta connection academy is not that awsome if you look at the fact that after graduation you can get a job with Delta Connection, Delta Connection, or Delta Connection... Without a 4-year degree, you will not advance in the aviation field... sorry... thats just the way it works.

Three words for you about Delta Connection Academy:

"Waste" "of" and "money"

Go to a real school and learn to fly from a real instructor. Delta Connection isnt even owned by Delta any more (Skywest Inc owns ASA and Comair is on the trading block). You are probably better off going to an aviation school, earning a degree, then going to work for the companies that currently own the Delta Connection carriers.

Delta Air Lines is not on the verge of going out of business, they are on the verge of successfully emerging from bankruptcy. Industry experts anticipate continued profitability after their emergence, anticipated April 30.
Delta Connection Academy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, therefore also remains safe and operational.

Delta Academy is under no threat. There is a severe shortage of pilots right now and delta makes a killing on the prices they charge at the academy. There is no way they will let that get away.
