I was driving through a local park and I hit this squirrel. Well, rather, he hit me. I was on the road first, then he decided to cross it. It must have been an adult squirrel because the insurance company claims my car is totaled. Now I have to buy a new car. I hate those beasts of burden! Can I sue the park for squirel negligance?

Its in the food and drink section because I got a free meal out of it. The squirrel provided his body for dinner because he couldn't pay the damages done to my car.

No, you can't sue it. I wondered that you might drive too fast at the local park and cause a squirrel to be split like to hit a deer.

I have been hitted the adult and kid squirrels and possums with my car and his (my spouse's) expensive car more than once around the trees including a local park nearest my shady home.

Better drive

I would check with the Squirrels Insurance Company. You might have a case..........Um, I cant believe that some people are takng this question seriously. Acting all concerned for you and everything. But it's ok, it makes me feel smart.

A squirrel totaled your car!?!?

What was your car made from? Papier-Mache.

It's obvious you're the one at fault since you're the one that hit the squirrel.

Also, you should know better than to drive your papier-mache car out on public roads. You're at fault there too.

uhhhh no... i dont think there is such a thing as "squirrel negligance" they kinda just live around.
like if you hit a squirrel in front of my house you couldnt sue me for my "squirrel negligance" cause they're not necesarially mine.
poor squirrel.
poor car.
got some bad luck there.

no i dont think that you can but your insurance should cover the cost of your old car and with that money you can buy a new one. why is your question the category of food and drink?

of course not, how silly. Just one of the facts of life-get over it. Your insurance should cover it. Frivolous lawsuits are such a waste of time. and money
