There is this guy that I have had an interest in. We send internet messages back and forth but just can't manage to speak when we see each other at the gym. We just look at each other. I feel like I need to make some kind of move or I will be thinking "what if". The only problem is I usually go for the average looking guy and this guy is hot. He makes me nervous. What can I do?

Well, darling, I'd go for it. Pluck up the courage, walk on over, and talk to him like when you send e-mails to him. Simple as that, honey. Just go for it.

you should post in one of yer messagaes "hey, isn't it funny that we talk to each other more on this than in real life?" I said that to my boyfriend and he sucked a breath of air and actually came and talked to me in person the next time I saw him.
My mom told me about a year ago "Dont go out with a guy you wouldn't wanna breakup with, cuz it WILL happen (in yer teen years anyway)." I didn't may attention and I ended up learning that lesson the hard way (owie).
If going to talk to him makes YOU nervous, just think about how HE must be feeling. Boys experiance nervousness FAR worse than girls do. He's more afraid of you than you are of him, even if he doesn't show it. You should talk to him, just give him a "hello, how are ya?" and then say no more unless you feel confortable.
Good luck with this guy, he sounds kool.

go for it! i bet hes thinking the EXACT same thing, so you could be the first one to speak up bout it! i mean lets put it this way... if you dont talk to him, then you'l never know if he likes you, and if you dont tell him you may never become a couple. the WORST that can happen is that he'l say "no"- but i mean come on, someone that stares at you all the time in gym cant say "no" so go ahead!!!

Just because he's "hot" don't let that intimidate you. He's responding to your internet messages, so why wouldn't he respond in person. If you don't go for it, you could regret it later. Be confident in yourself, and approach him. And if you keep in shape (by going to the gym) then why wouldn't he be interested.

Next time yall are at the gym when he goes for the water fountain say something like "Looking good" Men love women how are assertive. He will probably laugh and say something back and there you have it.

Is that the class that he is in with you, anyways just talk to him. If you can talk to him online you can talk to him in person. Or ask for his number online or give him yours and hope he will call.
