I am just curious.

i always hear people saying 5-6 small meals a day will help in weight loss instead of 3 big ones.

but what exactly would be a small meal? like how much is too much?

examples?
thank you.

meal one: cottage cheese and piece of fruit
meal two: chicken breast 4 oz. and veg, 6 grapes

I think it is important to get a little protein and carb at each meal. I think you will find yourself easier to stick with it because you won't have the cravings. The most important things to avoid are alcohol, processed sugar, and anything fried.

Try not to make it too difficult on yourself. Once you begin to see results, you will want to do more research and find out what works for you.

Good luck.

What I have always gone by (and what has worked for me) is that snacking through the day on healthy things descreases your appetite by the time you get to a meal. That way you dont ever feel very hungry.

If it is too much to fit into your cupped hands (envision it), then it is too big. This may seem small but it is not so bad when you are eating 6 times per day.
