How many photos can I burn on a 80 min, 700mb disc?

Sorry, I'm a first time "burner". I'm not very computer savvy yet.....thanks for your patients.

It depends on the resolution (how many pixels), and format (e.g. gif, tif, bmp, jpg, etc.)

Check the file size of your average picture based upon the resolution that you set your camera! Then just divide that number into the capacity of the blank.

For example, if you are using a 2 Megapixel camera with moderate jpg compression, the average file size will be about 1.5 Mb... so 700 / 1.5 = (approx) 460 pictures per disk

It does depend on the file size but most photos are in the 150k range or less, so you should be able to get thousands on a cd

Depends on the individual size of the image, lets consider its around 500 KB for each image. That would mean around 1400+ images in the CD

I don't know how anyone could tell you that. Open the folder that stores your photos. Click View, Details.

Do you see the size of each photo? They are all different.

When you copy or burn your photos to your CD, it should give you a running account of disk space remaining.

depends on the photos. I have fit about 350 photos on a disk like that with a 5 megapixel camera.
