There use to be a time when you wanted to look special for an evening, you would show a little cleavage. But nowdays nothing is left to the imagination for the poor guys out there.

I think guys probably do want mystery but for some reason, the women/girls aren't letting them have it. The funny thing is, if the guy is caught ogling their breasts/midsections that are bare, the girls get all upset and huffy about it. Well excuse me--why'd you wear a shirt that shows half your t!ts in the first place if you didn't want to be stared at? Seriously--what other reason is there for wearing something low cut or revealing? I can see none...

well, i would say that it has to be because its utterly impossible for girls to find shirts that cover themselves. I, personally, have the issue of having large breasts and a tiny waist (comparatively) and if I don't want to look like I'm dressed in something four or five times too big for me I really don't have much of a choice but to show some cleavage. Most people don't know how to tailor clothes anymore and mass marketing is made for the supposed "average" person, in which absolutely no one fits. I'm sure guys want mystery and when I find a shirt that covers me I add it to my favorites and wear it often, but you can't wear the same thing everyday.

Have you seen any Victoria Secret commercials lately? Picked up a Cosmopolitan magazine, or watched Desperate Housewives? Isn't this totally acceptable and what you guys want anyway? Personally, I agree with you, but it's all about money and marketing. Next season, ruffled blouses with collars to our chins will probably be "in".

some women consider it to be "sexy" to be practically half naked when going out. i find it to be rather trashy.
don't get me wrong, if i want to look "sexy", i'll show cleavage, but it's usually from a low cut shirt, not a top that covers my nipples and nothing more.
young women are quite mistaken in their views on what sexy should really be. as a society, we don't exactly show them what is acceptable. look in "club" clothing stores. there is nothing to those horrendous outfits. to me, all that screams is "i'm looking to get laid tonight".
