Its really up to you. She can drink regular juices. Just make sure that they are 100% fruit juices, not the stuff loaded with nothing. If it is too sweet you can water it down a little.

I would try to get off of the juice, period! It has very little too offer except sugar and tooth decay. If you have to do juice choose only ones that say "contains 100% real fruit juice". All the other ones are just garbage. You might as well be giving her candy all day long. Definitely try to dilute it too!
If you can't kick the habit, diluting the juice would be a positive step as well. Water really is best. Milk is great as long as they are staying within the recommended amount. I'd much rather have a kid over do it on milk than juice though, nutritionally and sugar wise.
Good Luck!

I give my 18 month old Apple Juice straight w/o watering it down. I did the watering down thing with my first but my doctors later told me that there isn't any need to do that anymore. Read the label and make sure that it is 100% REAL JUICE. Apple juice is the best..."an apple a day keeps the doctor away". Apples & apple juice can treat a number of things such as constipation or diarrhea and more. My oldest son would only drink "White Grape or Grape" but I saw that he did get a lot more diarrhea because those two loosen you up.

I don't know what Gerber fruit splashers contain, but I do know that a lot of "real" juice contains a lot of sugar and not much juice.
Depending on the labels I would be giving her whichever one had the less sugar and more nutritional benefits.

make sure you get 100% juice and if it is too strong water it down. Children only need about 4 oz. of juice a day before the age of 3. Also apple juice contains little nutrition now that it is paturized so much. The best juice is grape, white grape and cranberry. The rest of the juices (peach, strawberry, etc.) is ok just make sure it is 100% with NO ADDITIVES. Many juice companies fool you with fine print saying 100% juice with additives. Also children only need 24 oz of whole milk a day under 3yrs. If thier stool is milky its because they are getting too much milk. Milk isnt always good for you. Best thing for your child is WATER!! I cant stress this enough! WATER IS GOOD!

Sure why not? I have a 1 yr old and she sometimes drinks the same juice I drink when I run out of hers. ( but I always give her juice 1/2 spring water and 1/2 juice, because of the sugar content. Your girl is most definitely ready to try new juices!

Real juice is real juice no matter the brand name. Gerber splashers just have added vitamins which your child really doesn't need.

oh my give her the real juice and stop lining Gerber's pockets with there fancy labels and bottles. try Juicy Juice a lot more economical and kids love it or any generic brand or store brand 100% juice is just as good.

I would ask your pedatrician first but at 2 years most children are ready to go to the "real" juices and take medicene like triaminic when they are sick.
If ever in doubt call the doctor!
