I was involved and deeply in love with a guy for a long time. He put me through alot and although we dont get along I still have a lot of feelings for him. My freind was there the entire time. I recently found out they are now dating. What should I do?

Good riddance. Why stay with some guy who put you through a lot and you didn't even get along with? Your friend can have the loser- you'll find better people for relationships and friends.

Neither of them are people that you want in your life. I went through a similar situation a few years back when I found out my serious boyfriend was not only cheating on me, but cheating with my best friend! This was the girl who listened to me about all of my relationship problems and gave advice on how to make it work! Absolute betrayal on both sides and could not be more hurtful or embarrassing in any way, shape, or form. I made a decision (that was one of the hardest and most painful that I have ever made) that neither of them would have any part in my life ever again. It is extremely hard to lose not only a good friend but also a boyfriend. After the initial heartache and after lots of long, sleepless nights, life was good again, and I have never regreted my decision for a day. People that do things like you described are not real friends or people that truly care about you. Switch places for a second and think about yourself doing that to one of your friends...could you do it? Probably not. As hard as it may be move on from both of them, they aren't worthy enough to be in your life.

I am sorry to say it but it sounds like your friend is not a true one. If she were she would have known what he put you through and care about what you are feeling for the guy. She would not date him because she would respect your feelings and be upset over the way he treated you. I would drop her from your life and find new friends. You don't need a backstabber for a friend and sorry to say you don't need a guy in your life that put you through a lot. Move on from both of them.

Drop both of them like a bag of rocks.
Never look back.
It hurts now but it wont hurt forever.
This happened to me a long time ago.
Trust me Mr. right will come along and it will be so good you'll wake up smiling everyday.

First off she no longer is your friend. she watched you suffer for him and go through so much. But now shes the stupid one cause he will put her through the same. It will be hard but find a better man and much better friends!
