how to grow PROPHETICALLY? and SPIRITUALLY?

i pray alot, and it feels good! but i am in sexual sin. yhwh (god)always rebukes me and it makes me cry and feel bad becuz, i cant get out of sexual sin. and when i pray i ask why can't i get free from this and i just hear be patient.

I DONT GET IT!
i use to have dreams and visions, and prophecies NON STOP
but now they arent like they used to be. i really need yall to help me. can u tell me how to grow closer to the holy spirit. what should i say when i pray. what should i do to get to a new level prophetically? thanks

When you pray ask for forgiveness and help not to continue to sin. Along with prayer you need to continue to build a relationship with God. Regular church attendance and involvement in a small group ministry will help you grow as well as bible reading. The continual sin is what is causing you separation from God in the Prophecy and Spiritual area. I am not condemning you, no one is perfect.

What are the blessings and peace besides heaven of cleansing my self of these sins.

I suffered from years of peonographic use, which affected me in how i act, treat my wife and look at women. In tail the sex and porno ruled my life.

I found of a church that called itself the true church of God and could prove it and help any problem through certain ordinances.

There is a challenge in the book of Mormon that says he who asks God in the name of Christ if this church and book are true after reading- God will manifest it through his holy spirit.

My point is that Mormons have temples that give you incentive to work towards. In the temple there are some cool things and blessings that you can learn of if you practice and live rightiously and beat these things back.

Also you need the Athority or the holy Melchezidic priesthood to provide someone with a blessing that will help get the sex devils off your back so you can grow spiritually. That is the athority that christ himself carried. That is the power in which he cast devils and unclean spirits out of people.

This has helped me and I know it can help you.

I would have to guess that sin is hindering your abilities. God can not use you to help others if you can not help yourself. Don't ask him why you do things. You already know why. Ask him instead to help you not to do them.
