Is there any way to get a rooster to stop crowing? I live in miami and the neighbors hate the crowing in the morning-I personally don't give a damn-and i've been living in the city all my life. For ex. If I keep them indoors in the morning will they stop? I love them and i dont want to give them up (I have 3-no hens)

there are a few things that you can do, the first is an operation but im not sure if its allowed anymore, the second thing you might want to try is bringing him in at night and letting him sleep in a box, this way he cant stretch his neck up to crow and it is also dark then you let him out in the morning, this isnt all that effective though because they still crow during the day, i have also heard of pills which give the female hormones so that they dont have the urge to crow. if none of those work then you will need to negotiate with neighbours and if its allowed in your area then there isnt much they can do about it, or you could threaten to complain about them if they complain about you
