I'm moving to Novia Scotia and want to fly my dog down a few months after we go! Does anyone know whitch airlines will fly my dog there without me being required on that flight! And can you rent a kennel from the airport?

You need to supply your own FDA approved kennel. The kennel must be of hard plastic construction, with a firm locking mechanism. It has to big enough for your dog to turn around in. I would check with the airlines first.

I flew a cat from Vancouver to Hong Kong last year. The cat carrier I had was too small, so at the last minute we had to find a pet shop to get a HUGE kennel for her. The airline definately will not supply one for you.

Also I don't know where you are flying from, but if it is from outside of Canada, there are also specific health requirements. Letter from vet, current vaccinations.
