If it's right for you, and takes you where you need to go spiritutally, there is no need for it, although I suppose friends and family might try to make you feel guilty for it....but to remain in a church where you are just not "getting it", or you know you belong elsewhere is a betrayal of your spirit.

Why would someone 'convert' to another religion at all if they didn't somehow feel that they would be on the 'right track' so to speak with the new one? Why should feeling that one is now on the 'right track' make one feel guilty?

why would you? because if the faith you have converted to really feels as the truth, it should lift weight off your shoulders, and make you happy.
at the same time, if like a christian left christianity and became a buddhist, they might feel bad, because their love for Jesus was so great, and they have to let it go.
so it all depends really, on how religious that one person was, and even what religion they were before.

If your picking a choosing religions and feel guilty, you are not religious. Sort of like the tool with the soul patch above me.

No, it just means you have moved on to something you believe in more than you did your old religion. You've asked questions, (hopefully) and found meaningful answers that you can live with.

I didn't. I did not feel one bit of remorse walking away from something I did not believe a word of anyways. I don't consider being agnostic a conversion I consider it a freedom.

How many God's/Creators do you think there are? Does it really matter about a particular faith?

Not when you're Catholic and convert to another religion...the guilt has always been there. HEHE...

No. My conversion was an awakening. I felt no guilt whatsoever.
