I see Chevy, Ford and Toyota on the cars, but all the body styles look the same.

The cars that raced last week at Bristol were called "the car of tomorrow", and yes they are all the same body style. They do have different drive trains. The previous races this season the cars have been different in body style. It is hard to see the difference yet it is there. Chevy is a Monte Carlo, Ford is a Fusion, Dodge is an Intrepid (I'm pretty sure)(think they changed over from last years Charger), and the Toyota is a Camry. "The car of tomorrow" does not start running a full schedule until 2009. Then all body styles will be exactly the same in every race.

Their is the new COT and the teams use Ford Fusion, Chevy Impala, Dodge Avenger, and Toyota Camry. Then during the regular season without the COT they use Ford Fusion, Chevy Monte Carlo, Dodge Charger, and Toyota Camry. The cars are suppossed to be more equalized but still representing the companies taht sponsor them.

On the COT, the cars are all the same. The only difference is the decals and the engine (each manufacturer uses a different engine. Chevy is phasing in a new engine, and both can be used this year).

In the regular car, there are slight differences between manufacturers. The biggest difference is the nose. If you look at a picture from 2006, the Dodge Charger's nose is VERY different. However, they redesigned it and it is more similar to the others this year.

No, the bodies are not the same. There are Chevys, Fords, Dodges, and this year Toyota. The bodies are not the same. You can see this in the lights which are specific to the models and other markings such as the shapes in the front and rear. Enjoy!

And Dodge. The cars are different up close, like comparing the front end of a Dodge Charger to a Toyota Camry. The cars aren't much diferent.

There "body" is the same. The drivers are sponsered by the car companies.

all bodies must follow specific templates when building a car the motor companies just give money and parts.
