Why do people ask questions then when you answer them they report you?

This was the question and what i wrote.......It was about maternity clothes.


Question: I consider myself to be pretty stylish. I'm always studying fashion magazines.?

Question Details: Why not save the money for the baby rather then going all out on clothes for you . I bought 3-4 really nice things then rest casual, normal clothes just in bigger sizes. I always look nice but didnt blow a fortune on it. The bigger you get your not gonna feel sexy and really give a Da*n what you look like. Your gonna be more worried about how swollen your feet are, how tired you are, back pain..... ect.

I did not say anything other then she wasnt gonna care how she looked. ITS TRUE YOU DONT WHEN YOUR AS BIG AS A WHALE.

Question details is what i wrote to answer her question...... Thats just how it entered on here when i copied it from my violation email.... She asked about maternity clothes after she stated how stylish she was and wanted cute maternity clothes.

I'm really starting to notice people are really petty on here. They don't agree with you, they report you. You aren't all buddy buddy with them, they ask questions referring to you constantly. If that doesn't work, the harass you in email. All of that has happened to me...lol Oh and the best part, I was also told I was the one harassing because I responded to a few emails. If you take things to heart too easily, yahoo isn't really the place you should be. When I say you, I don't mean you....lol I mean anyone. I agree with what you're saying though.

People on here ARE overly quick to report you if they don't like something you wrote. I HAVE reported people before but only if they type something really offensive, like a racial slur or something that is extremely graphic in terms of adult content and that shouldn't be on a public website that children are viewing. Simply having an opinion that differs from mine isn't grounds to report a person; regardless of how stupid I might consider their input! (Grin)

I have noticed that a lot of people ask you for your opinion and then want to argue with you over your opinion. To this, I always respond by saying, "Hey, if you didn't want to know what I think, then why did you ask?" The real answer, I believe is that most of the time when people ask for your opinion, they really don't want it. Instead, they are hoping your opinion is the same as their opinion. Then they get upset and want to start an argument when they learn it isn't.

The nature of this forum is that if you honestly try to be polite and respectful in disagreeing with others, I have found you won't get reported too often. It will still happen some, but just roll with it when somebody gets their precious little feelings hurt.

I have no idea - I mean, you answered the question after all. Watching friends and family go through pregnancy -you are dead on.

She just didn't like what you wrote. You just have to let it go - I was reported for calling someone silly about a question over a potato...still don't understand that one.

because they are stupid, stupid people!!! i guess the truth hurts too much and they cant handle reality. i have wondered the same thing you just asked. i have only been reported twice on the stupidist things. once because i said abortion was wrong (hello!! dont ask my opinion then!!) and once because i am so sick of people asking "am i pregnant" so i said take a test!!

i feel if you arnt prepared to handle answers then dont ask questions!!

i do think some people take it over bored and get really nasty though.

I have had the same happening to me and i did not even use a word like dar*n or anything...just simply gave a nice answer.....but who cares about reporting?? This is nothing official, the points nobody cares really about them ...or should care about them...

People love to report especially if they are jealous of you but most of the time they do it out of spite. I would email yahoo at [e-mail] and tell them you done nothing wrong.

They could have reported you because you did not ask a question correctly according to their guidelines on here.
Your question is not in question form so maybe that is why.

i think they may have read the beginning of your question and thought you were being mean, instead of reading through your whole answer. Some people are easily offended, oh well their loss.

hmm weird one.....who knows, maybe next time you could say darn. haha, or maybe she was having a bad pregnancy mood swing and jumped to conclusions. lol.
