Ok i had my wiring and all that professionally installed then i sold that and bought a new system and im quite positive i have everything hooked up correctly. My subs started hitting for a minute then they just stopped? I dont know what is going on with that i checked if any wires were loose.

Also, What should i have my amp set at..i know the crossover should be liek 80-100hz but i have no idea about the gain..subsonic filter..slope or even what most of it means.

Do you mean woofers, or sub-woofers? Which is to say, do they have their own built-in amplifiers? Are they fused? Is the amp fused for each output? Check all fuses, anyway! Impedance too low for the new amp? Amp will see that (if it is the case) as a sort of short circuit). Go to a good shop if all else fails!
