I'm just curious (for personal guidance) how everyone out there navigates such a relationship...Do your parents have a problem with it? If you embarked on a marriage what is the family religion? (esp if you were to have kids)

I have a family friend in that kind of relationship, and they have been very happily married for about 6 years now. Good luck.

My family is Jewish, and my cousin is dating a Filipino. (I know that's not really Asian, but what the hell.) My grandparents can't wait for them to break up. They only like to see us dating Jews. I think most Jewish families feel the same way. (I'm not allowed to date Germans, Poles, Ukrainians, or non-Caucasians.) I wouldn't risk it if I were you.

i think it depends on the compatibility and personalities, not on the religion or race

i would imagine tho, both tend to be conservative, so it should work out
