Ladies, c'mon, I admire your desire to work out and get in shape. But save the spandex and sports bras for AFTER you drop that 40 pounds. In the meantime wear some baggier stuff that covers up the flab.

They aren't there to be your eye candy, they are there to work on their health.
You don't like the way women look when they go to work out?
Simple solution, don't look at them!

Obviously their self esteem is way better than yours is.
If you don't like it, don't look at them. Period.
They know they need to do something about their weight, that is why they are there. Not for you to criticize and cut them down. Rather than being so hateful, why not get to know them and help encourage them to keep going?
There are all kinds of reasons for people to be overweight other than being a couch potato and not giving a damn.
Don't be so quick to judge when you don't know their story.
I gained weight myself after having a 5 pound tumor removed from my uterus. I had a flat stomach and was in excellent shape before my surgery. After the surgery, BANG! Since I couldn't move and be active the way I was, and the trauma from the surgery, I packed on the pounds. I went to the gym to get back to where I was at 135. But listening to people like ya'll discouraged me from going back to the gym. It hurt my feelers to know that all the people at the gym were there for the same reason, but some there thought that the gym was only a place where only skinny people were allowed to be.
those kind of people suck! And so do you for even saying anything about it.

they are there for a purpose, give them credit. Yeah, it could make you wonder but admire them for trying to get their body and their health together.
Gee.
If you want to start an argument, talk about the people that show up with the gym with freshly sprayed parfum or cologne. Who wants to have a huge whiff of eau de toilet in their nose while they are going full speed on a machine.

c'mon ladies wear what makes you comfortable, if the people at the gym don't like what they see then they can either come back at another time, they don't have to look or they can wear blinders and cover their eyes, because i am sure the person that wrote this can stand to either loose weight or tone up and they don;t have no right to say any thing to anyone.

I don't hate it, but let's face it, it's NOT attractive in ANY way!!!
A few years ago my back went out and I gained weight, BUT I cover my fat. I'm working out & changed my diet, I'm losing weight but I still am not where I was/wanna be weight & figure wise. So I cover it up!!! I don't even wanna see that!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree! I can't imagine why an obese person would go out in public in spandex. I've got an unneeded 20 lbs on me and I can guarantee you won't catch me dead in spandex until the 20 lbs is gone.

look at it this way, when they show up you lose your lunch so you are losing more weight.....maybe we should show up with our boys hanging out!
