I want to dye my hair a lighter brown, so bleaching is a must to get it lighter. I also get perms, so to keep my hair straight while I have it bleached what do i do?

Yikes! If your hair doesn't fall out it will be really thin and feel like straw. My friend did it for awhile but she eventually had to let the color grow out.

I say deep conditioning and avoid perms for as long as you can. The when it gets too crazy use a "kiddie perm" (i.e. just for me, etc) they are less harsh.

well, you would have to do it the other way around. a bleaching will last quite some time. first get your perm ...a fresh perm if your six weeks is up. after that, wait about 2-3 weeks and get your hair bleached. after this, in a couple of weeks you will be ready for a touch-up, don't! wait a few more weeks, and then have your touch-up. but don't bleach it, use highliters instead to get your desired brown color. but be careful, I think you should try streaks for a while.

Hi

Bleaching, perms and straightening are all very harmful to the hair so do all of them and its going to cause bad hair damage.

Do you mean straighten it so that its easier to bleach? That should be ok.... but I wouldnt straighten it on a regular basis once you have bleached it. Be very careful as perm solution will have already of damaged your hair and addin bleach on top will damage it further... you dont want to end up with damage or frizz etc. Maybe get the hair dresser to do it.

The end results sound like they will be ncie thou.

Hello this is Miss.Sexy617
Yes. You could flat iron your hair after u get it bleeched or you could also use a straighting comb but don't burn your hair out. You also might find that after you get your hair bleeched you might won't need to do either for about 2 weeks. LATER

good luck man, i used dye and my hair is thin and i cant stand it , i miss my thick long hair, this is terrible , now i have to wait years to let it grow out. Bleach rips apart the hair and thins it , you cant see it , but if u had a microscope u could.
