What does it mean when she says this?

Im a sophmore 16 and i like this girl from ork who is a freshman from a different school and is 14. I asked her to my dance and she said she wanted to go but her school dance was the same day. I knew she wanted to go because at first she thought it was a diferent day and took of that day. Then i found out her mom was asking about me from my friends mom who put in a good word for me. I forgot to say that she is very shy and talks to me only if i start the conversation. My problem is that i asked her to a concert this Friday. She said she wanted to go really bad but her school play shes in is that weekend. I was talking to her friend who also works there and she was telling me that when she asked her if she liked me she answered "Yah, i really like him a lot But" and was cut off right there because the boss walked in. She never finished her sentence. What do i go to her school play, and what would you take this as>

it all looks good for you, she could have been saying anything "But... he goes to a different school" coz i know at that age those type of things matter!!

Talk to her about it man, your best solution to most problems is going right to the source.

you should always ask straight out...dropping hints and worrying about it doesn't get you anywhere, it's easier to just ask and if she likes you, great, if she doesn't, atleast you know and you can move on...it might be hard at first but you're young, and will move on eventually...good luck!
