Whats a good software besides Turbo Tax for filing taxes .
Software should be:
Inexpensive
Able to file taxes for different states if the person has moved.
Handle investments (Stocks)

You can try TaxAct. It is almost like Turbotax. I have used it in the past. It's cheaper than turbotax. You can file Federal for free and state for about 10 USD. If you have moved it probably doesn't allow you to do a partial state return for a few(3-4) states like WI. You can try and see. Thanks

www.irs.gov, individual, free-file, you can enter the criteria to have the IRS pick a few for you, or you can choose your own.

I am a tax professional, not working in taxes this year, except for free returns...I used TaxSlayer and felt it was user friendly and 1 Fed & 1 State 9.95. I had a medium difficult tax return.
