Beef Jerky - low in calories, high in protein (teriyaki flavor is the best!)

In health class, we learned the 4-4-2-4 diet. I follow it, and try to eat about 4 servings of carbs, 4 fruits and or veggies (a combo of both equaling 4 servings), 2 protein, and 3-4 diary per day. Drink lots of water, and when snacking, don't eat too much, and stick with low calorie items.

Some low calorie snacks that I like are almonds, apples (with peanut butter, sometimes), and baby carrots.

Jacket potatoes are fantastic, with beans or low fat cottage cheese, as this will keep you full for ages but is very low in calories. Another idea is fruit, especially banannas as most fruit is low in calories and fills you up! Raw vegetables are good, such as raw peppers, and raw carrots especially if you like to snack alot. Low fat yoghurts are low in calories and fill you up loads, especially good if you have a sweet tooth. Good luck and I hope you manage to find something you like!

Raw veg, filling and nutritious. It takes very little preparation. You can even buy it ready prepared from supermarket chill cabinets. You can make low calorie dips for a change.
