It's approximately 24,000 miles around the earth at the equator.
So about as far away from home as you can possibly get would be about 12,000 miles.
18,000 is not possible unless you leave the planet.

Well, it must have been beyond Earth because it's less than 25,000 miles circumference, therefore the furthest she could be from any spot is less than 12,500 miles, unless she went into space.

Maybe she went to IraQ is that 18000 miles? It's not in the us but we're sure as hell acting like we own it. Or she just took the long way around to get from her house to next door. Long way meaning she went east until she got to one house west of her.

It's not possible to get that far away unless you're in space. The earth's diameter is about 25,000 miles, so the farthest you can go is about 12,500 miles away.
