My 14 year old daughter has ADHD as well as a learning disability. I have a 7 year old daughter as well, who is in very good health. They act alike in alot of ways. I don't know if its the ADHD or her learning disability, but she prefers to be in the company of younger children, she relates better to them and also seems to be on the same kind of maturity level as them. Does your child maybe have another issue such as a learning disability?

my 10yr son does at times and other times tries to act much older. I have been told this is common. Thank God for the medication they have for it. I had my doubts about the whole ADHD thing until he was diagnosed and started taking meds. It involves so much and I would advise you to get all the medical info you can. They are definitely wired different. Hope this helps.

Well, l know a ADHD girl, and she is kinda immature. She her parents dont force her to shower so she smells, she fights over petty things, and complains all the time. She also steels and lies, i'm not sure if thats really her fault or the parents'.

its not that they are immature. its the fact that their brain works so much faster than they can think that its hard for them to concentrate. and boys are more immature than girls automatically.
