i go to the adobe website to download it but when i click the download button it goes to another page and it says adobe flash player 9. something is installed on your system but then i go to myspace and i cant listen to the music on other peoples profiles and it says you need to update ur player click here to download the newest version now, and then i click in it and it says the same thing it says you have succefully installed vesion 9. something on ur system

If you're saying it says it's installed but doesn't work:
Go to Add/Remove programs and remove the following if you have them:
adobe flash player
macromedia flash player
java runtime
Reboot, then go to www.java.com to install the latest Java runtime and www.adobe.com to install the latest flash player. If you still keep getting the message, go to Control Panel > Internet Options, Advanced tab, and click on "Restore advanced defaults", then restart your browser. If you still have trouble, download the Flash Player Uninstaller here:
Run it, reboot, and then go to www.adobe.com and install the Flash Player again.
