The chemical reactions in our brains are the reasons we 'feel' anything. Panic attacks are caused by too much adrenaline, depression by too little seratonin or dopamine etc. Your body doesn't feel pain it sends nerve messages to the brain which is interpreted as pain!

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

Yes it is a chemical imbalance in your brain. I have suffered from depression and anxiety most of my life. There are medications that help, but nothing I know of will completely fix the problem.

Yes. Talk to a doctor if you have concerns. Your family doctor will do. There are MANY resources on line. Just Google those words.

Yes; everything! It all happens there. A therapist can help you get meds for anxiety or help you with panic.
