How should I ask a girl out?

There is this girl that sits next to me in science class...I really like her. We were in the play together last year, both as lead roles. I like her a lot, and i want to ask her out. We talk to each other, and i see her looking at me when i turn my head. Im afraid she'll say no, what should i do?

Thank you everyone for your advice...I'll probably ask her out tomorrow...and if she says no...ah well...thanks you guys so much...

I'm also kind of afraid...because she is one of the sorta popular girls, and i am not one of the popular ones...but i like her alot. i make her laugh, and we talk...but im afraid that word will get around school, and people will make fun of me...i dont know...

IF YOU NOTICE THAT SHE LOOKS AT YOU WHEN YOU TURN YOU HEAD.. THEN DEFINATELY SHE HAS SOMETHING FOR YOU... GO AHEAD ASK HER OUT.. AND IF SHE SAYS NO THEN DONT WORRY YOU WILL ALWAYS FIND SOMEONE ELSE.

go for it anyways. you cant let other peoples potential opinions stop you from doing something. if you like her then take a risk. if shes looking at you when she thinks your not paying attention and you guys have fun together then there maybe something there. popular is nothing more then a label highschool kids stick on people it doesn't change who the person is. just because you guys dont share the same label doesn't mean that you cant have soemthing there for each other. good luck with asking her.

Don't worry about her saying no. Just be bold and ask her out.
If she says no....go on with life. The worst thing you can do is not ask her out. The reason being that you will live the rest of your life wondering what she would have said. Go ahead! Just ask her.

is there a movie you want to see? ask her if she's heard anything about that movie and then say, yeah we should see it together. Or draw her a funny picture. I remember in highschool this guy drew me this picture and then we started drawing stuff back and forth and in one of the pictures he drew "will you go out with me" above one of the cartoons and i did.

believe me she wont be first or last.
If she said yes, then all you have to do from the on be honest person.
and if you feel or realize that she is one of those girls that have a habit of making fun of others then just dump her.

Through suggestions. Talk and bring up cool places like, restaurants, outside activities, and anything that you think she hasn't done yet. Just saying "would you like to go out" is really cliche and not the safest way to do it. And if done that way, it's got to be smooth and classy. trust your gut, you know what she likes, and just go for it.

you have got to get the fear out of you and just do it
and i mean if you two are already pretty close friends then spark a conversation and honestly say what you feel but if you guys aren't clos then get that way first

asks for help to one of your hombois or homgurls.. like tell them to ask her what she thinks about you then go from there if not then walk wit her to class then say "you kno sumthing" then she'll say "what" then say "i like you" and see what she says
