About 4 months ago i discovered a lump behind my ear. I went to the doctor who told me that it was nothing to worry about. About a month later i returned to my doctor,as the lump was getting bigger. I was referred for tests, and told the lump was on my lymph nodes I am now awaiting surgery to have it removed. But, ive still not been told what it is,or what has caused it, any ideas?

my daughter had a lump behind her ear and it was removed...it was a benign cystic hygroma(not sure of the spelling of that last word)...then to just watch the place because it could come back but has not and that was about 14 years ago.
good luck...this is scary not knowing what is going on.
