oh dear Graham , this is playing on your mind isnt it.
Why not just call the embassy and get a definate save fretting over this. Rather do that than risk embaressment at the airport.

Yes it happened to a mate of mine all that he saw of the good old U.S.A. was the inside of an airport for 11 hours .

if you have any sort of convictions you need to go to the american embassy in london to get a visa. otherwise they wont let you in
