i want to get a tattoo of a phoenix bird on my upper back, but i am unsure of a design.. i have looked on some websites but i can't find a design i like...does anyone know of a design idea or website where i can find exactly what im looking for?

My suggestion is to find an artist you like. Shop around, look at the photo albums artists make available... find one you like and start a relationship w/ the artist. Ask for advice, see what they can do and ask them for a design. If they understand what you're looking for, they can better design the right tattoo for you. Also, it's OK to say no to a design (obviously). A good artist will work with you to fine-tune the design. Good luck.

My opinion is that the best way to get a great design is go into a reputable shop in your area that FOCUSES on custom work. Don't go from shop to shop trying to find a phoenix you like on the wall (or from website to website).
If you work with a custom artist to draw you a design, you'll get something personally meaningful and you will have had input on the design yourself.
As an example, I went to see my artist and the only guidance I gave him was "octopus" and showed him where I wanted it on my arm. The result is a one-of-a-kind tattoo that I am complimented on all the time.

Honestly that is something that can be best decided by you actually visiting some tattoo shops and going through portfolios of some artists, asking some questions and not only will you see lot's of pictures and get some ideas (they usually have thousands of pics on hard drives) but you will hopefully also find an artist that you like and trust to do your tat.
it's been pointed out some of us don't know anything and we are trolls so don't take my advice too seriously.

go to a custom tattoo artist that can create something unique for you and you only. so many people have phoenix flash tattoos that you'll probably end up with a twin somewhere out there. do some research on a good artist and make the effort to have something great.

I found my tattoo by searching yahoo under images because I kept getting frustrated looking at tattoo flash sites because a lot of them want you to pay for the flash.

There's the symbol ofr infinity which can be seen as a snake swallowing it's tail, or an eight on it's side. If you image search it you might get some ideas.

Does it really matter when you could be going to hell when you die. Did God make you with that tatoo. Shouldn't you worry about more important things like not sinning. Maybe you should turn your life to God and forget about your stupid sports issue. You seriously need some help. Join a rehabilitation clinic. Purify your soul if you have any hopes of eternal life.
